What Could Be The Reason For Feeling Cloudy Head?

I have a friend who has stated on a couple of occasions that her head feels cloudy for a lack of a better word. It usually lasts a couple of days and then goes away. I've told her to talk to her doctor and that she may need a cat scan and she keeps saying it's nothing. What coud cause this?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you are right.
He should definitely consult doctor, specifically neurologist and get done clinical examination and CT scan of brain to rule out internal brain related diseases.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for brain diseases.
Also get done blood pressure monitoring to rule out hypertension as this can also cause clouding feeling. If blood pressure is also normal then sometimes stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.
So ask him to avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Don't worry he will be alright but first rule out brain pathology and hypertension.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
