What Could Be The Reason For Having A Dark Brown Spot On My Areola On My Right Breast?

I have a dark brown spot on my aereola on my rt breast. I picked it off thinking it was a scan of some sort but it came right back. I am not pregnant nor do I have a period due to depo. It has been there for a while but just recently thought I better get it checked out.

Hi
The kind of skin lesion that you can simply be an eczematous skin lesion but it surely needs to be evaluated by a dermatologist.
The site of the skin lesion is a cause of concern, so we should not ignore it.
Do not treat it at home.
You should see a dermatologist soon for the same.
A simple eczema will require a topical steroid cream, else if a skin biopsy is required, you will be guided.
