Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. From your history, it can be inferred that you are having chronic fatigue and overburdened from your work. The headache and neck stiffness are due to stress, tension and improper sleep. This type of headache is usually tension headache.

Now that you have understood the cause, we should focus on how to get relief.
You should follow these tips
: take a break from work. Do those things which you like most.
: For neck stiffness, massage it. Do neck muscle stretching exercise daily.
: Avoid continous forward neck flexion posture while doing work. It is bad for neck. It can cause cervical spondylosis. You should do neck movements like rotation. Adjust your chair such that, your neck remains straight while doing work.
: Avoid bright light if possible.
: Avoid late night sleep. Maintaine a sleep routine.
: For pain relief, you can take Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription. Do not take it regularly. You can take it when you are having unbearable pain.
: Diclofenac gel can be applied over neck for relief.
Hope it will help you. If still no relief, consult doctor. He will evaluate and prescribe medicine for relief. He might evaluate your vision for need of glasses.

Thanks. Take care.
