What Could Be The Reason For Having A Hard Boney Like Bump On Top Of My Foot?

I started wearing dansko shoes and have since developed a hard boney like bump on top of my foot where the band of the shoe lays. When I wear other shoes it seems to compress on this lump and the burning sensation in my foot is unbearable. Any idea of what it is and I have stopped wearing the shoes in hopes that it goes away or do you think surgery will be necessary

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem, this could be a shoe mark that might made the tissue hard and formed the lump like appearance, in my opinion stop searing this shoes this might not be compatible once you stop this the lesion would start decreasing, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
