Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Be The Reason For Having A Lot Of Thirst?
I seem to be thirsty a lot. I'm healthy in general (Female: 35, not overweight, eat at least partially well, have been bad about working out in the winter but quite active otherwise etc). I have always consumed large quantities of water (I rarely drink other beverages, other than herbal tea) but lately I seem to be constantly thirsty. I've always got a lot of sinus junk going on and aways seem to be fighting a cold or just maintaining until I get another cold. I live in a Utah so am at high altitude and low humidity. I'm wondering if I should look in to diabetes?
