What Could Be The Reason For Having A Small Bump With A White Small Head Between My Thigh And Testicles?
I have a small bump with a white small head on it between my right thigh and testicles it hurts when i touch it , haven't had sex in 7 months , , just started working out January 7 of this year , do you know what could have caused it and how can i cure it , think it was there before i started working out , not sure , im 43 white male , 6'2" 230lbs
I would keep a possibility of Bacterial infection of the hair follicle/folliculitis.
If I was the treating doctor I would have advised an oral antibiotic for a week (My choice of oral antibiotic would have been Amoxycillin 500mg in combination with clavulanic acid 125 mg, thrice daily for a week. One such combination is a popular brand marketed by GSK in India i.e Augmentin 625 mg).
An OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% Mupirocin twice daily can be applied over the boil. Along with oral antibiotics, it would hasten the resolution of infection.
An OTC pain killer e.g Ibuprofen 400mg (bruffen tablets) twice or thrice daily, would provide symptomatic relief from pain and swelling.
I hope this answers your query.
regards
