What Could Be The Reason For Having A Weird Feeling In My Tongue?

MY TONGUE FEELS WEIRD. MAINLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE. AND IF I DONT CONTINUALLY SWALLOW MY THROAT GETS DRY. FOOD TASTES FUNNY AND FEELS STRANGE ON MY TONGUE. I GOT A COLD A FEW WEEKS AGO & AM JUST NOW GETTING PAST THE BAD CONGESTION. THE WEIRDNESS WITH MY TONGUE HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT 5 DAYS NOW. IS IT SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY COLD OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The problem of tongue might not be due to the cold drink but this could be due to the stomatitis that must have involve the tongue, to rule out this clinical examination is must but for the trial purpose "Povidone Gargle can be tried" if this could subside the symptom, take care and have nice day.
