Hi. I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Usually following IUD insertion ( Copper T) people might experience symptoms like cramping, on & off bleeding, break through bleeding in between periods, abdominal pain, headache, back pain etc. These symptoms will settle within 6months.
I advice you to, - look for the expiry of the effective lifespan of the device - consult your gynaecologist for a USG pelvis in order to locate if there is any pathology & also for further assistance. - Also can take a course of depot medroxyprogesterone acetate or cyclic progestins & oral estrogens as per your doctor guidance, till the bleeding stops.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
