What Could Be The Reason For Having Missed Periods?

I take birth control (the pill) and I just missed a period but I've taken 3pregnancy tests which all turned up negative. Ii've recently been told that I have a non-cancerous tumor on my uterus. What could be the cause of my missed period (I've had not major lifestyle/dietary/weight changes.

Hi,

Even if you have noncancerous tumor like fibroid, when you are taking you can have irregular periods. The pill has Progesterone hormone, which also tends to cause irregular periods. Rest assured about its contraceptive effect provided its taken regularly without a break.
