What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain In My Mother's Ear?

sir, I am krishnakumar from Nellore.
small query about ear, one fly was gone into my mother's ear 3 days back, we consulted a ent specialist at ongole and he has taken out the fly, but now she is getting some pain inside the ear, may I know why the pain is coming ? and need some solution please

The pain may due to an infection by the fly or by the instrument used by the doctor and she will need some antibiotic drops for it.
Please meet your ent doctor again for the prescription and confirming this.
