What Could Be The Reason For Having Peripheral Neuropathy In Both Legs?
I had shingles, shortly after they disappeared, but now I have peripheral neuropathy in both legs. It is like a bunch of sharp, sandy, tingling when I walk. My doctor say's it was from drinking alcohol, but I am not sure, as that is what I found on the net.
Hello, Your doctor is right. If you are having peripheral neuropathic symptoms in both legs, then it is an alcoholic peripheral neuropathy,if you are consuming alcohol excessively. Shingles would result in neuropathic symptoms in one leg only, because it occurs in one side of body only and not on both sides. Thanks
