What Could Be The Reason For Having Recurring Scab On Left Ear?

I have a scab on my left ear inside the lug of the ear, not inside the canal of the ear. It's on the upper left ear lob. I pick at it. It goes away. Then the remaining tissue is white. Then in two weeks brown scabs grow back and then I pick them off. The white underneath is shown and scabs grow again. It's not itchy and it's doesn't hurt. But, if I keep picking at that spot and I press it, it feels tender. What is it?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, the reason can be a avascular cartilage lying under that white patch of skin. Usually happens because of chronic pressure over that area. This is treated by incising the skin and excising a part of cartilage underneath and then suturing the skin. Other reason can be a skin eczema which can be treated with an antibiotic with steroid cream application. Regards
