What Could Be The Reason For Having Severe Abdominal And Back Pain After The Intake Of Duphastone During Pregnancy?

I am 28 years old and I am carrying a baby of 6 weeks and 5 days, I started spotting 7 days before and today I consulted doctor and got duphaston 10 mg twice a day as prescription. after taking the first pill I am getting severe abdominal pain and back pain and bleeding also increased .please advise me what to do next

Hi. Tab. Duphaston is a progesterone which will not cause pain abdomen but rather help in supporting pregnancy.Since your symptoms have not settled and has worsened, I will advise you to see your Dr. again and review the scan and take necessary action.You can get TVS done to see the cause of bleeding.this seems to be a threatened pregnancy.
