Hi there.
Symmetrical patches on both the thighs may not be linked to the medications or be an allergic reaction most likely to the amox you are taking. How long has it been since these rashes were present? Is it itchy? Please go across to a dermatologist nearest you & get a 'scraping' for fungus examined under KOH.
This will point you in the right direction. Alternatively stop all medications taken for the recent cold et al & see if the rash subsides.
An antihistamine may be a value added addition & perhaps fexofenadine 180mg (Telfast/Allegra) may be the order of the day.
Perhaps a good clear digital image upload of the region will help us better.
Good Luck & Godspeed!
