What Could Be The Reason For Intermittent Sore Throat With Fatigue?

I have had a severe sore throat on and off for the past 5 months. It lasts generally around 5 days each time. There is fatigue associated with it. Throat culture negative..ENT doctor scoped me and found nothing. Is there something everyone is missing? Or could this just be a ongoing virus?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding intermittent sore throat while your ENT doctor can't get any thing for recurrent infection even on endoscopic examination.

According to your clinical history and observations of your ENT doctor we may think these possibilities in your case-

1- Recurrent allergic pharyngitis.

2- Recurrent viral Pharyngitis.

3- Recurrent infection may be because of undetected Diabetes.

I hope your doctor will remain in touch of your doctor very soon your diagnosis will be established and treatment will be finalize.

Regards.
