What Could Be The Reason For The Extreme Pain In The Stomach And Diarrhea During Periods And Pepto Or Menstrual Pills Are Of Not Much Help?
My girlfriend is on her second day of her period and she is having extreme pain in her stomach, she is taking birth control. She has changed her birth control but not recently at all maybe 7 months ago I don t know what to do and it s really hard when nothing is helping, pepto, menstrual cramp pills nothing is helping. Also she is having diarrhea sometimes, What could this be??
Abdominal cramps are normally associated with periods, but if it is extreme and pills dont seem to be helping, then you may have to take her to her doctor and get her evaluated. If there is another cause for the pain, it will have to be treated.
The diarrhea is also commonly associated with periods, but if this is cauing her discomfort you can speak to her doctor about this as well and he/she shall surely help.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
