What Could Be The Reason For Tingling In Both Hands?

My mum has been suffering with tingling in both hands for about the last 8 weeks, she has had some blood tests done and all clear, they thought she could have had low calcium but turns out its fine. They are sending her for more blood tests and to check b12 etc. do you have any ideas what this could be, I'm really worried for her?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi,
tingling in hands could be due to neurological or vascular cause. it may be due to low B12 and other vitamins. A mechanical cause like cervical cord compression should be ruled out. If that turns normal, check on her pulses, distal hand flow and nerve conduction studies will be needed to find what is causing the tingles.
Hope this helped.
