What Could Be The Reason For Twitching, Pulsing In Right Eye?

For over a week, my right eye is twitching/pulsing/throbbing..not sure what the correct term is. It is not my eyelid, it is the puffy region under my eye and this pulsing is visible in the mirror. I just had my eyes examined, but everything there is healthy and the optometrist said the twitch should go away, but this has been going on for about 8 days now, any idea what is going on?

Twitching is involuntary muscle spasm. With rest it should go of its own.If does not go & causing irritation then it may require treament.Muscle relaxant may be given. If no relief then botox injection can be given to paralise muscle.Still does not stop then consult a neurologist.
