What Could Be The Small Black Moles On Trunk And Upper Leg?
Hello, I ve had a terrible cold for over a week now which has left me anosmic. Other symptoms are headache, disorientation (woolly head), sweats, lethargy and my neck is especially painful today.I had a rash on my right arm last week that looked like little red blood blisters under the skin but this has now gone.Prior to that I had a cluster of clear small blisters on my left inside wrist which have also gone but have left scars. I ve just checked my body and noticed loads of new small black moles the size if a pin head and these definitely are new - on my trunk and upper legs. I ve also been in contact with someone who lost their boyfriend to meningococcal Septacemia 5 weeks ago.I am still so poorly I just wondered whatyour opinion might be. Many thanks for your time, lizzie
Hello and welcome to HCM, According to your history, you are suffering from headache, disorientation, and painful neck. Besides these symptoms you are having blisterrs and black colored pin-point spots and a history of exposure to contact to meningococcal infection. Meningococcal infection is characterised by fever with constitutional symptoms and palpable blue-black spots on the body. You have symptoms which are indicative of meningococcal infection. However, clinical examination is needed for assessment. However, the clear blisters which are leaving scars are not characteristic of meningococcal infection. Clinical examination and relevant investigations are required to make correct diagnosis.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
