What Could Be The Small Non Painful Purple Bump On Index Finger?

I went outside to move my truck and was not wearing gloves and I also removed some icicles from the truck. When I came back inside I notice a small purple bump on my index finger. It is about 20 degrees outside and I would say I was outside less than 10 minutes. The bump does not hurt at all. What could it be?

Since it does not pain , itcan be a bump resulting from mechanical fricktion. Just wash it and apply some soothing cream like vesline and leave it like that. It should improve.
