What Could Be The White Patch On The Septum After Septorhinoplasty?

Hi. I had septorhinoplasty 10 days ago, and today when looking up my nostril with a torch I noticed a white patch on my septum which appears to be septal cartilage. It seems some of the sutures have torn before the incision healed, and left a gaping hole.

I will mention this to my surgeon ASAP, but it's late at night and I am worried about it.

Do you think this is something which will require surgery, or will the lining heal itself?

hello,thanks for ur query, 10 days post op septorhinoplasty , after correction , septum closed in flaps and sutured with obsorbing sutures.it looks torn sutures because its a intrrupted suture. do not be worried as ur already 10days over and ur in healing phase.in my opinion u dont require resurgery,will heal on its own.all d best.take care.
