What Could Be The White Stuff Blocking The Ear Canal?

In my sons left ear I noticed the canal blocked by some white stuff- not wet or puss, almost looked solid. He is in no pain, doesn't feel different in any way. Over the past couple days it has gotten smaller and seems to be going away. What could this be and should we be concerned?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain white stuff blocking the ear canal that looks solid and not wet or pus and also not causing any discomfort seems to be probably Ear Wax accumulation and it is produced on a regular basis inside the ears by wax glands..

You need not to worry as it is not pathological and you should clean his ears regularly atleast once a week to keep the ears clean..

In case if there is any discomfort or symptoms like pain or clogging associated with it consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
