What Could Blurred Vision And Bloody Patch Near Cornea After Lasik Surgery Indicate?
Dear Sir/Mam,
I had Lasik surgery two days back with Allegrato Wave 400 Hz. A brief idea about both of my eyes is as followed
Left:
Vision: CF at 2 m
Refraction: Sph -7.00, Cyl 0.5, Axis 70 degree, VA 6/6, Near Vision N6, Pachytmetry 583, Introcular tension 12.0
30 degree latent squint
Right:
Vision: CF at 3 m
Refraction: Sph -6.00, Cyl --, Axis -- , VA 6/6, Near Vision N6, Pachytmetry 583, Introcular tension 12.0
After the surgery I have been observing good vision in right eye whereas the vision in left eye is some blurred with minor pain. Moreover there is a small blood patch near the cornea.
The doctor asked for continuing the eye drops for 2 weeks and then report.
I took almost all the necessary precautions for last 2 days. As per the doctor’s suggestion I have only used the black goggle provided for the first 2 days post lasik.
I am very much concerned about the success of surgery for my left eye. Please suggest in detail.
I have been using my laptop frequently from the 4th day post surgery due to some need. Please mention the harm related to it.

It seems from the history that you have undergone LASIK surgery and your vision has improved in right eye, but you are having blurring of vision in left eye.
Since it is only 4th day of surgery the time is required for decrease of the corneal edema and corneal dryness associated with surgery.
You need to decrease the use of laptop as it may increase the corneal dryness.
You need to worry if the vision does not improve after 6-8 weeks after surgery.
Hence I advice you not to worry about the vision problem as it is very early and you need to continue the treatment as advised by the surgeon.
