What Could Body Ache, Fatigue And Swollen Lymph Node In Neck Indicate?
The last month I have had body aches and fatigue and a lymph node that is really swollen on my neck, so swollen that it sticks out. I cannot get into the doctor until next week but it is starting to really affect my daily life and I'm really worried. I was just wondering if you have any idea what is wrong with me and if I'm just being paranoid?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain body aches, fatigue and swelling of lymph nodes in the neck can be due to infection in the body as it is one of the most probable cause for swollen lymph nodes.. You need to consult a General Physician and get evaluated and he can advise you to get an FNAC/ Biopsy of the salivary gland done to rule out the exact cause of swollen lymph nodes.. In case of Reactionary Lymphadenopathy caused by infection antibiotics and painkillers can relieve.. In case if it is not due to infection other causes like Lymphoma has to be ruled out..
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
