What Could Brown Blood Discharge While Having Irregular Periods Indicate?

So I started ovulating on July 6th and right now I am experiencing Dark Brown Blood in my underwear when I wipe. My period normally will not come for a couple of days even though it is irregular. I am playing in the World Series next week and am really hoping I will not have my period, and if I do, that I will be prepared. What is this brown blood?

As you mentioned that your ovulation date was on 6th July.
You also mentioned in the query that your menstrual cycle is irregular , but why it is irregular , you din't mention the cause .
So this brown discharge may be the due to the reason , for which you are having irregular menstrual cycle .
In my opinion this brown discharge may be due to some hormonal change or stress or due to tension .
In my opinion this is just wipe type , so first of all complete your world series . After this get in ultrasound of both ovaries and uterus and find out exact reason of such discharge . Consultation with a gynecologist is the best option.
