Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Brown Vaginal Discharge And Persistent Tingling In Breasts Indicate?
Is it normal for your breasts to tingle all the time and have a brown discharge? When I saw my doctor a couple of months ago, he ran tests and all came back normal. My discharge was milky then, but now I have brown discharge. My mammogram was normal, but I have dense breast. My right breast bothers me the most.
As per my clinical experience, the tingling breasts indicate possible hormone alteration as there is milky discharge as well suggestive of prolactine level rise. The brown vaginal discharge is related to bacterial or fungal infection most likely. Guidelines for better recovery: - Drink plenty of liquids to prevent secondary bacterial infection - Get a cervical swab reported for culture of bacteria and fungi on Sabourad agar media - Culture sensitive antibiotics and prophylactic or therapeutic anti fungal medications - Discuss the need of prolactine level reporting with your doc to evaluate any underlying pituitary disorder if any - Anti-inflammatory medicines - Avoid stress and anxiety
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
