What Could Brownish Spotting Between Periods Post Protected Sex Indicate?

My husband and I had protected sex for maybe 10 min if that. The condom didn t brake and I took Plan B within a hour or so. I got off of my period the same day we had protected sex. A week later I saw some blood in my pee though I had my period but it s been about 4 days since the spotting started. It s brownish color. I don t have cramps. What could it be?

Hi,

As you had used condom&used plan B (there is no chance of pregnancy. The brown spotting you had after 8days of taking plan B). Seems to be due to withdrawal of hormones (inbuilt in plan B).

The periods mostly are delayed by 8-10 days following the pills. Due to hormonal imbalance caused by pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
