What Could Bruises On Arms And Leg Suggest?

I have had unexpected bruises appear on my arm and leg. I have been tested for STD's and everything was negative. The only disease that I have't been tested for was hepatis. Should I be concerned or is it just from frequent sun exposure. It happened last year around this time of the year during the summer. What do you think could be the problem? Thank you
