What Could Cause A Blinding White Flash Followed By Loss Of Hearing For A While?

I laid my head down to sleep when a blinding white flash occurred in entire eyes not on side alone. As it gradually disappeared i became deaf when the pressure was release out of my ears. One week later, this morning, it happened again while drinking coffee. No flash just pressure and deafening of ears. Each incident was only 2 full seconds. I have heart issues and no other.
