What Could Cause A New Foul Smell And Taste Affecting My Stool, Urine, And Foods I Normally Eat?

There is a smell and taste that is new to me. It is not a good one either, and I first noticed it when my stool smelled differently than normal. I thought nothing of it until I started to smell this in foods I normally ate, such as mashed potatos and eggs as well as chicken noodle soup! I then began to taste it randomly and now I smell it everytime I use the restroom; urinating as well as excreting. What could be the problem?
