What Could Cause A Swollen, Aching And Tender Lip After A Vomit?

I vomited two days ago. I don t think I rinsed my mouth out well enough and am guessing the inside of my bottom lip is tender and aching because of the acidity of the vomit. The front part of my lower jaw is also swollen. It burns to rinse with mouthwash or peroxide.
