What Could Cause Absence Of Stomach Bubble During Pregnancy?

20 weeks pregnancy showing no stomach bubble, could you pls. suggest me what is possible cause for this problem and radiologist suggested to come for repeated scan? I drink a lot of water and going for urination before ultrasound. Can this also be reason? Doctor told us reason for this may be baby is eating something that s why there is no visiblity of stomach bubble?Could you pls. suugest. Thanks

at 20 weeks of pregnancy, the baby's organs are still developing. a stomach bubble means a visible sign of stomach. the baby drinks water like substance called amniotic fluid which surrounds it. if the stomach is filled with this amniotic fluid, it is visible on ultrasonography, if not then it is not clearly visible. not seeing a stomach bubble in 20 weeks is a normal sign, so relax, everything is good. a sonography scan after 28 weeks will give more clear picture of the baby's stomach
