What Could Cause Allergic Rashes And Itching All Over The Body?

Sir, I suddenly two days ago I got allergy hives and itching all over my body and there is swelling in hands face and lips.. I have consulted doctor and taken avil and steroid injection and also taking allegra, atarax and another one allergy tablets as prescribed by the doctor.. the next day I was alright. but again from yesterday night I am facing the same problem.. What would be the reason?

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and it seems to be urticaria. It is an allergic reaction which can occur due to certain foods, drugs, infection, thyroid disorder and sometimes occurs without any cause. The medicines prescribed are fine. You can continue with them for few days.
