What Could Cause Black Mark Around Neck?

Dear Doctor,

I am 45 yrs +167 hgt + 230 kg weight. Taking medicines for Hypertension/cholestrol,diabitics for the last 5 years and all the reading are normal.

I have black mark around the neck & requesting whether this is a symptom of any other disease.

Please advise/Troy Mathew-Doha/Qatar

Hello,
Thank you for writing To HCM

Acanthosis Nigricans, hyperpigmentation in areas such as neck and armpits. It occurs commonly in diabetic patients and obese patients.
I advice you to take Tab.citravite once Daily for 3 months. Apply glyco 6 cream over the affected area.
I advice you to consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist in person for chemical peeling in the affected area.
