What Could Cause Black Out?

I have had severAl episodes of feeling like I m blacking out or losing consciousness. Today while driving I felt a sudden whoosh and felt like the road was dropping out from underneath me, like I was riding on a roller coaster. It only lasted a couple seconds and I pulled over and got out of the car and felt a bit dizzy. Within 20 minutes I felt better.

Dear ,
I can understand your concern .
I would like to inform you that there are so many reasons for dizziness . But the important one are problems in heart and brain .
There may be any abnormal rhythm generating from heart or it may be because of other heart problems .
Decreased blood supply to brain or anything in brain can also cause this.
This may be caused by raised blood pressure or decreased sugar level .
There are many drugs that can cause dizziness .
So as you can see we have so many causes of dizziness . Complete history and examination is required to reach the diagnosis .
You consult to your physician . Hope this will help you . Thanks for contacting HCM .
