What Could Cause Bleeding At The Lip After A Mohs Surgery?

Had mohs yesterday on chin wound goes from line of bottom lip down. I changed the dressing today and used baseline and bandaid ate dinner and area when lip meets skin started to bleed not heavily i keep dabbing with gauze. Is it possible i popped a stitch? Should i call Derm?

Hi,

Bleeding may occur at the site of stitching due to damage to capillary wall by movement or manual handling. Do not worry. Press the area with gauze piece or do cold compresses for few minutes. Still, if bleeding occurs,consult the doctor.
