What Could Cause Bleeding Near A Pierced Area In The Ear?

My daughter got her ears pierced 3 months ago. We ve have changed her earrings a couple of times and both times her right ear will have dried blood around the back of the earring. Today at school her ear started bleeding and her teacher had to take them out and put a bandaid on her ear. What is causing this?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Dear,

Primarily it appears to be due to inflammation because of contact dermatitis. You should not use any mixed metal ring in the ear, ideal will be gold. Apply antibiotic cream (as neosporin ) locally for 21 days.

Hope you recover fast.

best wishes
