What Could Cause Breath Shortness?

I have been taking warfarin for about 6 months and have recently, in the last two weeks, started having shortness of breath. My bp is 115/75 heart rate was around 65 and oxygen saturation was at 95 during my last checkup two weeks ago. Could the warfarin be causing my shortness of breath?

Hi
U didn't mention the undelying reason for which u r taking warfarin. U must be taking as u have atrial fibrillation due to
1) valvular heart disease
2)hypertension
3)coronary heart disease
4) cardiomyopathy
etc.
Your current problem may be due to deterioration of pre existing cardiac disease in the form of increasing pulmonary hypertension or increasing heart failure ( due to sub optimal dose of drug, increased intake of salt or progression of disease despite treatment).

You need a thorough evaluation, so consult a physician or preferably a cardiologist

Thank you
