What Could Cause Brief, Warm, Painless Sensations On The Right Side Of My Lower Abdomen Occurring Several Times A Day For Two Months?

WHAT would cause warm,not hot, fleeting, not painful sensations across right side of abdomen below waist (sometimes slight above) and some 3-4 inches above groin.
Never painful or even hurting, never itchy. No observable skin decoloration, rashes or anything obvious on surface of skin. Duration about 2 months. happens maybe 4-5 times a day. I can not associate it with when or what I am eating. I only drink cold or hot water. Not bothersome,I just smile about it. But, concerned that it could need some attention.
