What Could Cause Brownish Colour During Urination?

I had bladder cancer in aug of 2012. I go for regular check ups and my last scope was three months ago. I am due for another in 6 months. However, i noticed dark (brownish urine) I realized I had eaten red velvet cupcakes. Can that cause it? I made an appt. for tomorrow to check it out

If you are having brown colour urine, it can be because minute amount of blood is getting mixed in it. I would advice you to get your urine checked and take opinion from your doctor. It can be due to infection also so cancer is not the only cause but as you already have history of bladder cancer, there is slight chance of recurrence is there, so show to your doctor as per appointment.
