What Could Cause Chronic Fishy Odor Coming Out Of My Vagina?

Hello, I’ve had fishy odour coming out of my vagina for years every time I get tested for STDs like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hiv, trichomonasis and have my cervix looked at they say I’m all clear but I still have this unpleasant discharge and I’ve tried the bacteria vaginosis treatment it’s not BV I’ve tried everything and I’m truly tired, what seems to work is if I take strong biotic pills so I think it’s something to do with the bacteria in my body

Hi,

In absence of any STDs, the cause of fishy smell in vagina can be due to bacterial inflammation of vagina due to imbalance of normal bacterial flora in vagina. Apart from genital hygiene, vaginal pessaries of lactobacillus can be used to correct the flora.
