What Could Cause Continued, Heavy Periods After Taking Meprate Medicine Followed By Etosys?
last month i didnot have proper period.then spotting continued .for that doctor gave me MEPRATE medicine course for 20 day.but i had periods after after 13th day of medicine thought periods came on expected date only.then doctor asked me to stop medicine.first two days of periods were normal flow but from third day i started having very heavy bleeding then on fourth day doctor gave me ETOSYS medicine for four days .today is my sixth day,bleeding has reduced but no sign of periods coming to an end,otherwise my periods last for 4 days only.what to do now?my hieght is 5 feet,weight 58kg.my utrasound and papsmear tests are normal,no problems in them.
You can wait for 7 to 10 days after stopping the drug.The bleeding will reduce in the following days.In case the bleeding continues more than 10 days or bleeding is associated with clots or abdominal cramps,you will need to consult your gynaecologist. Heavy bleeding should be treated immediately to avoid excess blood loss and anemia.
