What Could Cause Extreme Fatigue, Memory Loss And Constipation With High Calcium And PHT After Parathyroid Surgery?

I had parathroid surgery in January, I still feel fatigued, memory loss, severe constipation. Before surgery my calicium level 10.4 PHT-intact 316.2 . Two wks. ago it was 9.4 and 220, how come the level is still very high Please let me know and why am I still feeling rotten.

Good day.
Hope your kidney functions are okay.
If you have a raised PTH even after parathyroid surgery points to the fact that there are more than one gland involved and additional surgery with a careful exploration is required. Please approach an endocrinologist and then further surgery only by an experienced parathyroid surgeon. You may require additional tests to look for source of PTH. Sometimes, parathyroid glands can be present with in chest wall and inside the thyroid etc.
