What Could Cause Fever After Having A Safe Sex?

Hello there I m 20 years old and I had sex with a escort yesterday. I used a condom for everything we did. I use protection but the next day I got sick and catch a fever and I m freaking out cuz I have fever and that s an STD symptom I m so scared and I don t know what to do?

Hi there,
I understand your worry but as you have used condom(nice) and you have fever only next day of contact so chances that you have got a STD is very unlikely. Fever could be because of other reasons like viral. To decrease fever you can have paracetamol and If you develops any symptoms like pain,rashes, glands, ulcers over private parts or if fever persists beyond 3-4 days then you should consult your physician.
