What Could Cause Frequent Dizziness?

My wife has been complaining of Dizziness since last year February. After consultations with ENT, Ortho, ENT & Eye, it was surmised that she had Vertigo. Based on initial symptoms of excessive pain in the neck and spinning sensation, an MRI of the neck was carried out. However it did not conclude anything concrete. She had an ear infection. So the line of treatment the doctors used was for Vertigo.

Her initital condition was spinning of the head and environment around her for prolonged period. She was prescribed with Betadine 8 mg. Her position improved. But the problem has not gone away. Are we following the correct treatment? Is there a permanent solution.
