What Could Cause Heavy Periods, Numb Fingers With Painful Shoulders And Back?
greetings Doc.i am a 40 years woman ,6th to 10 of last month i had heavy menstruation, then on 29th my menstuation started again ,flowing heavily, today makes it the 4th day it seems it reduced but the 3 days was hell.i had numbness on my finger ,pains on my shoulder and back.feel tired.please i need your advice.
I think that this condition of your can be due to irregularities in menstrual cycle which may be due to hormonal irregularities also. Hence, I will suggest you to do a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done. Also, start a course of analgesics for 5 days and antispasmodic Drotaverine for cramping pain for 5 days, start tablet Regesterone 5 mg for 10 days and do an ultrasound examination of the lower abdomen.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
