What Could Cause Itchy Red Spots On The Wrists That First Appeared After Pulling Out Weeds?
I have developed itchy red widely spread spots. I thought it was poison ivy but it has not responded to ivarest and now more spots are showing up. I m trying to decide whether I need to call my MD or just wait it out. The first few spots showed up on my wrists after weed pulling.
It may be irritant contact dermatitis. There is an urgent need to consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Avoid further contact with weed. Apply mild steroid and antibiotic in combination cream on the lesions. Take antihistaminics like cetirizine 10 mg daily and take oral steroids in tapering dose. Avoid soap bath.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
