What Could Cause Left Temple Pain?

I have a pain in the top of my left temple which seems to carry downwards to the corner of my eye.. It kind of feels like a needle. (No, not pins and needles).
The pain itself feels like a jabbing of the needle repeatedly in and out of the exact same spot for 3-10 seconds at a time then just stops, only to happen again a short while later (10-60 mins).
This has been happening now for over a week. I have tried painkillers...Ibuprofen, asprin, co-codamol 30/500 and tramadol (not all at the same time). Any Idea on what could be the problem?

As you mentioned you have problem of pain around temple and eye area that may be because of cluster headach or other reasons.

Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis.
Detail history and investigation helpful for diagnosis.
Mention a intensity and duration of pain with aggravating factor.
Ct scan and MRI is helpful for further diagnosis.
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
