My next period came when it was due and lasting the normal length of time it usually does and all normal. i had a week free and then 4 days ago started bleeding again, however this time it is light flow but very very dark in colour (almost black), no odour, no pains. ??????
Contraceptive implants can cause irregular bleeding, spotting and abdominal cramps as a common side effect. Irregular bleeding is very common in the first 3 months of implant use. As the body adjusts to the hormone levels, these symptoms will reduce. In case of heavy bleeding or cramps, bleeding with clots, I suggest you to visit your gynecologist.
