What Could Cause Menstrual Bled Only While Peeing?
I am a 22 year old woman who has a regular period every 28 days. I am not on the pill but my boyfriend and I had sex the day my period was due and I was three days late after that. We took a test and it said negative and within a couple of hours i got my period so I assumed it was stress. But my period is weird this time. It's day two and normally its heavy. But I only seem to be bleeding a lot when I pee? Am I pregnant? Is it cysts?

The possibility of pregnancy is less in your case. As:
- In regular 28 day menstrual cycles, it is unusual to have ovulated on the expected day of periods and so pregnancy.
- You got periods after the intercourse.
- If there is any history of unprotected intercourse in the middle of the cycle, please go for a urine pregnancy test once.
Some amount of fluctuation in the length of menstrual cycle and in duration and quantity of menstrual flow can be seen due to different factors like:
- Stress and strain
- Changes in diet, sleep, exercise, etc.
- Poly cystic ovarian disease, etc. as you mentioned.
But according to your history, as this is the first time you are having the problem, you can wait and watch for one or two months. May be your cycles regularize soon. If irregularity persists, please consult your gynecologist and get evaluated.
